Estarli's carbon e-gravel bike weighs just 13.5kg and rides naturally beyond the assistance limit. Torque-sensing hub motor, SRAM 12-speed. From £3,195.

The Estarli G700 is a gravel bike that happens to have a motor, not the other way round. At 13.5kg with a full T700 carbon frame, fork and integrated cockpit, it weighs less than some acoustic gravel bikes – so when you pass the 15.5mph assistance limit, or simply switch the motor off, it still rides like the bike you actually wanted.

Who is this bike for?

The G700 is perfect if you:

  • Want one bike for everything – Bridleways at the weekend, back lanes in the evening, the commute in between
  • Ride with faster friends – The torque-sensing hub motor tops up your effort naturally, so you keep up without feeling like a passenger
  • Refuse to ride something that feels electric – At 13.5kg there’s no penalty above the limiter, and no drag with the power off
  • Are bikepacking-curious – Add the bottle-style range extender and MIK rack and it becomes a genuinely light adventure rig
  • Value British design – Designed by Estarli’s team in Berkhamsted, with UK-based support and parts

Everything at a glance

  • T700 carbon fibre frame, fork and integrated cockpit
  • 13.5kg complete – light enough to carry over gates and up steps
  • Estarli CSG 4.0 rear hub motor (250W, 40Nm) with torque sensor
  • 250Wh Samsung battery – 25–40 mile assisted range
  • Optional 250Wh range extender doubles capacity to 500Wh
  • SRAM Apex/Rival 12-speed with 11–44T cassette
  • SRAM hydraulic disc brakes
  • 700c x 45mm gravel tyres on thru axles front and rear
  • Two sizes, two colours (cosmic purple, lunar white)
  • Two-year warranty

Accessory options

  • Range extender battery – Bottle-style 250Wh pack that sits where a water bottle would, doubling range for bigger days out
  • Pannier MIK rack – Click-on luggage capability for commuting or touring
  • Commuting mudguards – Keep the road spray off when the G700 is on weekday duty

Honest about the numbers

A 40Nm hub motor won’t haul you up Lakeland passes the way a full-fat cargo bike motor will – and that’s the point. The G700 is built for riders who want their own legs to do most of the work, with a discreet tailwind for the hills and headwinds. If you want maximum assistance, we’d point you elsewhere in the showroom. If you want a proper gravel bike that removes the sting from a hilly ride, this is the lightest, most natural-feeling way to do it.
