We’re delighted to be taking part in this year’s Bay Health Festivals’ Celebration of Cycling. We’ll be at Lancaster’s Dalton Square from 10am to 4pm this Sunday 14 July alongside friends from Sustrans, Go Velo and Love to Ride Lancashire.
This is a great opportunity if you’ve been curious to learn more about electric bikes and cargo bikes, and want to get a better sense of what they’re like in a safe and controlled environment. We’ll have as many of our range of bikes available as possible from brands including Riese & Müller, Tern and Gazelle.
The Bay Health Festivals are all about living better, healthier happier lives. Despite ever greater improvements in healthcare, we are becoming an increasingly sick nation. Poor diets, the loneliness epidemic, inactive lifestyles, invasive technologies and societal pressures are seriously impacting our health.
The Bay Health Festivals push back on all these ills, and seek to highlight the many and varied ways we can reconnect with each other, eat more healthily, be more active, and “rediscover the lost art of living”. Cycling has been shown to dramatically improve both physical and mental health, and so it makes sense that the health festivals celebrate cycling.
E-bikes have been especially spotlighted for making cycling more accessible, and a more viable form of transport. E-Radicals specialises in electric bikes and cargo bikes that are practical and functional. Utility bikes for people who want to cycle for some of the journeys they would perhaps normally make by car.
If you’re keen to find out more, and maybe have a go on an e-bike yourself, come along and see us in Dalton Square on Sunday. And if you have any specific requests for Sunday, or would like to find out more, please get in touch.
The Bay Health Festivals’ Celebration of Cycling takes place on Sunday 14 July 2024 from 10am until 4pm at Dalton Square, Lancaster.
