Style meets sustainability. The Culture's minimalist design hides a 50% recycled aluminium frame and lightweight Bosch SX motor for effortless city riding.

The Culture is what happens when Riese & Müller designs an e-bike to look good in your hallway. Minimalist lines, pastel colours, and a frame built from 50% recycled aluminium – it’s an e-bike that makes a statement without trying too hard.

Who is this bike for?

The Culture is perfect if you:

  • Care about aesthetics – The striking frame design with its signature top tube bend looks as good parked in your flat as it does on the street
  • Want lightweight urban transport – The Bosch SX motor keeps weight down while still delivering smooth assistance
  • Value sustainability – 50% recycled aluminium frame and eco-friendly powder coating
  • Prefer low maintenance – The silent and vario models feature belt drive for years of clean, quiet riding
  • Need flexibility – Optional suspension kit, range extender and rear carrier adapt to your needs

Everything at a glance

  • 50% recycled aluminium frame
  • Bosch Performance Line SX motor (55Nm torque)
  • 400Wh CompactTube battery (Range Extender 250 optional)
  • Lightweight – models from under 22kg
  • Magura MT A2 hydraulic disc brakes
  • Schwalbe Big Ben tyres
  • Integrated rear mudguard light
  • Raised head tube for upright riding position
  • Diamond and mixte frame options
  • Three frame sizes (50, 56, 62cm)

Choose your configuration

The Culture range offers three builds:

  • touring – Shimano CUES 10-speed derailleur – versatile gearing for varied terrain
  • silent – Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub with belt drive – low maintenance, quiet running
  • vario – Enviolo continuously variable hub with belt drive – effortless, stepless shifting

Accessory options

  • Purion 200 display – Handlebar-mounted display upgrade from LED remote
  • Range Extender 250 – Additional 250Wh battery with matching bag
  • Suspension Kit – SR Suntour fork and Satori suspension seatpost
  • Rear Carrier – 27kg capacity for panniers or child seats

Form meets function

The Culture proves that sustainable transport can be stylish. The clean lines hide serious engineering: a frame that’s lighter because of recycled materials, not in spite of them, and a motor system chosen specifically for its compact dimensions. It’s the bike for people who want Riese & Müller quality without the sporty aesthetic – urban mobility that looks as considered as your furniture.

I absolutely love my new e bike - I am not scared of hills anymore! Jack couldn’t have been more helpful and knowledgeable, we are so lucky to have his shop in Lancaster.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of test riding, choosing and buying my new bike from Jack at E-Radicals. Jack is really friendly, knowledgable and patient as I worked through various options with him - a high end e-bike like a R&M is a big purchase and it needs to be done right! Jack had the full range of models I wanted to try in the shop and was happy to set up different combinations of saddles and handlebars, and get answers from R&M that weren’t available online, so I could make an informed choice. Four months later and I’m still very happy with my purchase. Thank you Jack!

I bought a Riese ünd Muller Culture with which I am very pleased. I got comprehensive and knowledgeable advice from the proprietor to help me choose and was able to take as many bikes as I wished for a test ride before deciding. The bike was delivered at the time promised and was ready and waiting for me to pick up. It may seem a little daunting to set off on a test ride from the shop’s location on the gyratory system if you haven’t ridden an e-bike before, but Jack can suggest a few alternatives to get you started. Highly recommended all round.
