Despite its old-school aesthetic, the Cruiser is still packed with all the technology you’d expect for maximum comfort and functionality. It’s the perfect machine for getting about town, in and out of the city centre, or out into the countryside at the weekend.
Two generations of the Cruiser are now available: the latest generation which is styled as the Cruiser2, and the previous generation known simply as the Cruiser. As with Riese & Müller’s other bikes, the key difference is that the latest generation use the latest drive technology from Bosch including their Smart System.
The Cruiser is available with a coaster brake as an option, labelled by the company as a rücktritt model. For the uninitiated, this is a rear brake that you activate through backpedalling. They were once very common on bicycles in the UK and remain so in mainland Europe, but are something of a rarity these days. Still, if this is something you’ve been missing, you’re in luck!
