The Charger4 is the everyday E-Bike for long-lasting riding enjoyment. Thanks to its fully integrated 750 Wh battery, it comfortably takes you through everyday life and far beyond. The suspension fork and suspension seatpost ensure a high level of riding comfort – making it just as comfortable and safe to ride on dirt tracks as on asphalt roads. Well-thought-out components, such as the versatile carrier and the bright light of the daytime running light, are ideal for daily commuting or an extended weekend trip in all weathers.
The Charger is a great choice if you’re looking for an e-bike that can do more or less anything, and has lots of options available.
As with most Riese & Müller e-bikes, the Charger comes in numerous different configuration options. The touring model features a Shimano Deore gear system with a chain while the vario and rohloff models feature belt drives with Enviolo and Rohloff hub gear systems respectively. The GT models come with fat road tyres. It’s a hardtail, meaning it has a rigid rear and front suspension.
The latest models are typically styled as “Charger4” as they’re the fourth generation. A key development since the previous model is the incorporation of the Bosch Smart System, the very latest e-bike drive system from Bosch.
A Supercharger variation of the previous generation is also available. Riese & Müller’s “Super-” models incorporate an additional battery in the top tube of the bike. The improvements in Bosch’s battery capacity have rendered this a less effective upgrade than it was previously. (The latest Charger has a 750Wh battery with the Supercharger only increasing this to 1000Wh, although this can be upgraded to 1250Wh.)

A sporty, comfortable hardtail with lots of options
The fully integrated 750 Wh battery and the Performance Line CX motor, part of the Bosch smart system, fit perfectly into the stylishly designed frame. So now you can ride up to 100 km with just a single battery charge. The optional Bosch PowerMore 250 Wh additional battery provides extra power: only as big as a drinking bottle and weighing just 1.6 kg, it can be stowed away in a backpack or bike bag. And should you spontaneously decide to go on a longer trip, then just attach the energy reserve to the down tube and continue riding for another 50 km without the need to stop and charge.
